My works for the most part is embedded with the DNA of my past and how certain negative experiences have shaped me into the person I am. I strive to change the way we view some of the awful things that may happen in one’s life.
I use such vibrant contrasting colors to recontextualize ideas like loneliness and isolation to create a brighter outlook on these themes. My exploration of color and different mediums are just avenues towards this.
The things that may cause us grief can turn into something beautiful. I ultimately want to showcase that our griefs and traumas can lead us to something more worthwhile, something more colorful.
